Garden gnomes have become a popular accessory in many gardens. In certain locale, however, the garden gnomes have become the target of pranks: People have been known to return garden gnomes "to the wild," notably 's Front de Liberation des Nains de Jardins and 's MALAG (Garden Gnome Liberation Front). When looking for a gift for the gardener we have so many options to choose from. Personally, I think that a garden gnome is a great gift. Why? Well, it is rather simple, really. A cute little gnome in the garden brings a little whimsy to the area and they can be placed just about anywhere in the flower bed or general landscaped area. It is rather hard to get them a duplicate because there are so many fun ones available and it probably is not something they will just put to the side and not use.
Well they can just be found doing all sorts of activities like holding a welcome sign, fishing or holding a rake. You can also find them being just a little bit naughty or saying something ornery. There are even Gnomes who dress for the holidays: Halloween Gnomes, Christmas Gnomes and all kinds of other festive little guys that can be switched out as the holiday time begins. I am guessing that if you have decided to give a garden gnome to a friend that you are going to have so much fun looking at your different options. You might even have trouble buying just one because they are just so darned cute! Have fun shopping and stop in and let me know how your friend or relative liked the new addition to their garden space.
