HP touch screens can also have a number of apps preloaded.

While touch screen laptops and PCs may not be a new development they are being upgraded all the time. There is a wide range of Hewlett Packard products to choose from and they are available from a number of different high street and online outlets. It may seem a good idea to purchase from the original provider but there may be add ons or discounts that other providers can offer. It will be best to shop around and make sure that all items have been fully researched before purchasing. There is no need to worry about loss of function in order to accommodate the new technology as the battery life on all the HP touch screen models is as good as ever.

When a HP laptop screen gets broken, it is very frustrating, because you need to it and thus have to buy a new screen, to disassemble the laptop and so on. In order to get things back on track, you need to connect the system to a docking station or external monitor and see if there is something displayed on the unit. If no response appears, then things are dead and you necessarily need to get a new laptop screen. If you have the right skills, a bit of patience and the steps you need then you can manage to do the work by yourself. If not, you can take it in service, but the repairing part can turn out to be of the same value of a brand new laptop.
You will need a small flat head screwdriver and a small head Philips screwdriver. So let’s get started. First of all, turn off your HP laptop computer and remove the AC power cord. Flip the system over and slide the battery cover in order to take out the battery. Next, remove the keyboard cover by removing the screws and use the small screwdriver to pry it loose, starting from the right-hand side, then in the middle and finally the left side. Remove the screws from the rear panel of the laptop and remove also the screws that hold the antenna in place. Put the antenna to the side of the laptop and remove the display adapter cable from the motherboard. The retaining screws holding the display assembly to the top of the laptop case should be removed as well. Now you can carefully lift the display assembly free of the laptop case. Now take the replacement screen and put it carefully in place. Replace the retaining screws that hold the screen in place, connect the display cable to the motherboard and reassemble the case. Finally, turn on your HP laptop screen to see if you receive signal and if everything is in order. After you replaced you HP laptop screen you also have to make sure you clean it properly. For this you need a soft cotton cloth, LCD screen cleanser and LCD monitor wipes. Turn off the laptop and unplug the power cable and dampen a soft cotton cloth with cleaning solution designed for LCD screens. Solution should not drip from the cloth, so don’t use too much. Wipe the screen with the cloth and be gentle when you are rubbing the screen, so you don’t scratch the screen, only remove smudges and fingerprints.
