Any consumption of oil is good only when its intake is limited. Do not over do with the almond oil, and do ask a nutritionist or a physician before you consume the oil. Also, it is extremely important to be aware of which almond oil you consume. Make sure you pick sweet almond oil only. The bitter one is toxic.
This is a super-rich, natural hand cream made with sweet almond oil and vitamin E to hydrate and shield hands. It includes beeswax, a skin conditioner that also helps seal in moisture. Unlike floral or fruity hand creams, this has a distinctive nutty almond scent.
Prior to passing away, my mother in-law (79) suffered from a heart condition which caused her ankles and legs to swell; making her evenings very uncomfortable and sometimes even painful. I began using AP’s Sweet Almond oil so I could massage her legs nightly and bring down the swelling. Just a few drops in the palm of my hand went SO FAR!!! It is light in weight and light in scent making it perfect as a carrier oil. I also used this while she was in the hospital to massage her left hand. We noticed it had begun to swell and the nurses advised that they would have to cut her weddings off! I whipped out the Almond Oil, put only 2 drops in my hand and begun to massage. About 40 minutes later, I was able to massage the swelling down and get the rings off. I was amazed mostly that I didn’t have to add more oil after all that time and massage! And because of the light scent, it didn’t bother her perfume sensitivity. She was so grateful! AP to the rescue again!!!
