Star Wars fans are seeking out every bit of information they can find on the currently filming and highly anticipated Episode VIII, and now a new report suggests that Frank Oz, the voice of Yoda, may be working on the film in some capacity.
This year the festival featured professionals Tom Kane and Marlana Hope. Tom Kane is the voice of Yoda as well as many other cartoon characters from Cartoon Network and Disney.
"Clone Wars," the award-winning animated series that extends the "Star Wars" legend, is among his most notable credits. He voices Yoda, a job he got after working on the "Star Wars" games. "I did Boba Fett, Admiral Ackbar, C-3PO when Anthony Daniels didn't want to do it, and they knew I was a good mimic."
The voice of Yoda can be heard in full on Monday, January 5th at 9:00 p.m. Even if you’re not a fan of the show, it might be worth a watch just to hear Oz play the character one more time since nobody knows if we’re ever going to get the chance to hear him in this new batch of Star Wars films.
